The DS-PDSMK-S-WE wireless photoelectric smoke alarm detector is designed to sense smoke that comes into the alarm chamber. It does not sense gas, heat, or flame. Smoke detectors connected to the Hikvision AX PRO alarm system can be configured to warn you by sending a text message or signal to a monitoring station.
